If you don’t know about British Yorkshire Pudding Day, are you even British?!
That’s definitely a joke, seeing as though I only found out about the occasion a couple of days ago, but it’s already one of the most important dates to have in the diary, in my eyes.
So it’s going to be a Sunday, and British Yorkshire Pudding Day, so if you’re free, why not celebrate with a fantastic Sunday Roast and Yorkshire Pud? If you’re up to celebrating the occasion, here are some places to visit for a roast dinner in Harrogate.
1. Three’s A Crowd
I haven’t tried their Yorkshires myself, but I’ve seen them. They’re impressive. Even a peak at their Instagram feed is a feast, so you can imagine what treating yourself to a meal there tastes like.
If you’re after a good vibe, perhaps a nice glass of wine and a walk down West Park to walk off the puddin’, Three’s a Crowd is a great option for Sunday lunch in Harrogate.
2. Inn at Cheltenham Parade
If you’re looking for a great Yorkshire pub to get a great Yorkshire pud, the Inn at Cheltenham Parade will satisfy your cravings. Choose from Beef or Pork to accompany your pud, or go all out with their Yorkshire Toad in the Hole. It doesn’t get more Yorkshire Pud-y than that!
4. Farmhouse Harrogate
Farmhouse have just launched their Sunday Roast and it’s pushing the boundaries of the usual roast dinner. I’m talking sharing platters consisting of GIANT Yorkshire puddings and bottomless gravy. Need I say more? Worth a visit for a Sunday Roast in Harrogate!
Fodder is in the name – if you’re looking for some good Sunday food, why not try Fodder? If anyone knows how to do a good Yorkshire, it’s Fodder, and it’s evident in the image above. If you need to pick up some fruit and veg or other goodies for the week ahead, you can justify Sunday lunch at Fodder with a trip to their wonderful farm shop afterwards!
3. Farm House Bistro
If you’re looking for somewhere slap-bang in the centre of Harrogate, just off its high-street, Farm House Bistro is a great place to visit on British Yorkshire Pudding Day! They offer a Sunday Lunch accompanied with all of the trimmings and a choice of beef or chicken. Delish!
5. William & Victoria
One of Harrogate’s most-loved restaurants on Cold Bath Road, you can get your Sunday Roast anytime between 12-5pm. With a great selection of meats and all of the trimmings, you won’t be disappointed with a trip here on British Yorkshire Pudding Day. But make sure to book your space!
The list could go on. We’re in North Yorkshire, so places to grab a Sunday Roast are aplenty! Will you be celebrating British Yorkshire Pudding Day 2020 with a roast dinner in Harrogate this year?
