‘Tis the season to get your thinking cap on and wallets out to get that Christmas shopping done! For those who have already started, bravo! …I am not one of them. (However, I have started to plan Christmas gifts, so I’m one step closer, right?)
Well, despite not being the most organised of Christmas buyers myself, I want to help you get organised with yours. As a Yorkshire blogger, I really love buying Yorkshire gifts from local brands and we’re lucky to have so many independents on our doorstep. For any of my fellow Yorkshire dwellers (and non-Yorkshire dwellers) looking to buy those extra special gifts from Yorkshire businesses, let this Yorkshire Christmas Gift Guide be your inspiration!
Christmas Treats from Bettys
Nothing says Yorkshire like the Bettys brand, and no place is better for food-related Christmas gift treats than Bettys too! From delicious chocolate snowmen to the famous favourites featuring delightful macaroons and fondant fancies – not to mention their renowned Fat Rascals to cater to savoury lovers too.
Treats from Bettys make fantastic Yorkshire presents, particularly when wrapped up in the lovely Bettys boxes that they often come in. Who wouldn’t love to open up a box to the most perfect and colourful Macaroons, after all?
To help you in your search for the perfect Yorkshire gifts, Bettys have dedicated a whole section of their website to gift ideas to provide you with some inspiration, however, visiting one of their stores to buy your goodies in person is a treat in itself!
Gifts from The Little Yorkshire Candle Company
I recently came across this brand on Instagram and immediately knew that their products would make fantastic Yorkshire gifts for Christmas. The Little Yorkshire Candle Company creates divine candles made only from natural ingredients to produce long-lasting and gorgeous scents. Not forgetting the beautiful product designs (they had me at copper lids).
This small company’s owner, Alex, pours her lovely Yorkshire candles in a small village workshop in North Yorkshire. With 6 different scents to choose from, I am dying to try one myself, but I can already think of a few people to gift them to. All six of the candles sound amazing but the Sensual scent definitely stands out – I’m not sure if it’s the warm tones or grey candle holder but either way, it seems a winner. So if you’re in search of some Yorkshire gift ideas to give to friends or family, these fragrant candles are a fantastic gift for the home!

So Belle Jewellery
Jewellery makes the most unforgettable Christmas gift, and it’s even better when you know it’s from an independent Yorkshire brand dedicated to finding you the most beautiful designs. A gift is made even more special when it’s unique and not something that can be picked up on the high street, and So Belle Jewellery offers just that.
So Belle is a Skipton-based online retailer specialising in quality sterling silver jewellery that has been lovingly sourced and selected to provide the very best designs to its customers. Owning a piece of jewellery from their myself, I couldn’t not recommend their products in a Yorkshire gift guide.
After browsing their website and Instagram, which I frequently do, I have a few favourites that I think would make fantastic Yorkshire Christmas presents! Take a look…

Yorkshire Gin Gifts from Harrogate Tipple
If you’ve been following In Between the Food from the very beginning, you might remember me talking about this brand in my Harrogate gin post. If you’re looking for a Yorkshire present to buy for a gin-lover, I have just the idea for you – Harrogate Tipple make their own premium Yorkshire gin (and rum) and it’s delicious. It’s still a favourite gin brand of mine and they recently expanded their collection to include gooseberry and blueberry flavoured gin (yet to try but need to try).
But if your recipient has quite the gin collection already, why not give them something different? Harrogate Tipple have a brilliant gin candle (yes, gin candle) to provide you with a fantastically unique Yorkshire gift idea!
I actually really enjoy choosing and buying gifts for people (and myself, oops), but it’s made all the more special when you’ve sourced it from somewhere special too. It’s so easy to shop from the same retailers time and time again, but it’s good to branch out to both treat the recipient and help local brands!
I would really love to expand this gift guide even further so please do let me know if you recommend any lovely Yorkshire brands and products that would make brilliant Christmas presents!
